Kelly’s Story:
I moved to London, England in 2003 when The Ohio News Network asked for volunteers for layoffs. I started off as a sound operator for a few different channels on live television, and finally got a job video editing again in 2007.
My favorite memory is when Kari and Marisa locked themselves out of their apartment and were trying to pick the lock while drunk, and someone had the good sense to video tape it. But the best part was the look on Marisa's face several months later when I snuck the video onto the end of the blooper reel at the banquet. She had no clue it was coming!
The unique opportunities that we made for ourselves with Dance Marathon were a lot of fun. It was a lot of late nights and hard work but looking back we had a great time doing it.
